I am an unbound weaver, spinner, and dyer. I value tradition but desire to move beyond what was.
I am mesmerized by the potential and process of turning raw materials into functional textiles, transforming everything I touch.
Very little I do makes sense in the usual world of business. I work against the grain. I am a maker of my own making. I am guided by vision, driven by passion, and sustained by the joy of making a thing worth making.
I derive no satisfaction from glue and glitter. What I make takes practiced skill and time to make. In my world time is not money, but the living stream, the currency I use to bring forth a thing that wasn’t here before I put mind, eye and hand together.
I live in the Pontiac, Quebec. My hand-made textiles aspire to be harmless, timeless, existing beyond trend and fashion. They are made from locally sourced natural materials, whenever possible, that endeavour to Honour all Life on our truly Noble Earth.
